Information

Lamraig Cottage is let by the calendar month (4 weeks). Our aspiration is that you travel less and relax more, come share our island life, properly slow down and enjoy our very special beaches and nature.

If needs be bring your work or creative projects as Lamraig Cottage has an office and workspace (with broadband) that is separate from the house so that others can still be on holiday even if you need to get a few things done.

what are your rates?

The monthly rate is £3400 the high season months April-September. Our bookings run from arrival on Monday to departing on Friday over a 4 week period (26 days).

From October-March, our preference is for a 2 week minimum stay at £1,500 - however, please Contact Me if you would like to discuss dates etc. as we may have some flexibility during the winter months.

hOW DO I BOOK MY STAY?

Have a look at the Booking Calendar then Contact Me indicating your preferred dates and we will get back to you asap.

How many people can the cottage accommodate?

The maximum occupancy is 4 - the cottage is perfect for a couple and cosy for a family of four. There is a double box bedroom downstairs and two single futons on the sleeping platform upstairs.

Please note that the sleeping platform is accessed by a wooden stepladder and is, therefore, only recommended for children of 5+ and well abled adults. However, there is also a futon sofa bed in the living area for those that might not quite manage the step ladder. Please contact me if you would like further details.

Are children welcome?

Lamraig cottage is a wonderful base for a family holiday. The quiet roads make cycling safe and easy. The natural surroundings, the fresh air and freedom will exercise everyone and make sure they sleep very well.

We do not recommend the cottage for children under 5 years old due to the wooden step-ladder up to the sleeping platform but would be happy to discuss this with you further.

Can we bring our dog?

Well behaved dogs are very welcome as long as they do not nap on the furniture or beds. They must also be kept on the lead around livestock at all times but can be let off to run on our beautiful empty beaches.

Office

The office (3 x 1.6m) is located in the separate utility building and has broadband. It is a light, airy space with 3 external windows looking out to the loch. The perfect place to write, be creative or get some work done while letting everyone else remain on holiday. We don’t provide any office hardware or supplies so you would need to bring your own. Images of the office can be provide on request.

receipts

We can provide a business receipt for office rental and accommodation if required.

UTILITY workspace

The utility (3.5 x 2.8m) has a sink and 2 walls of work tops. It can be used to store and dry outdoor gear. However, if you intend to use this time creatively it is a great space to paint, draw and be artistic.
